Saw Avengers: Endgame today. During the commercials before the movie was a promo for something called Orange Vanilla Coke.
It sounds like a horrifying abomination of chemical flavors and a cup and a half of sugar in carbonated water that could just as easily be sold as diabetes in a can. So why do I want to try it??
I'm definitely going to try it.
I swear I'm an idiot.

I know! I'm still going to try it though. I think I was intentionally dropped on my head as a child. Probably a lot.
You apparently associated the pleasure of the movie with the food advertisement, as they intended. I didn't realize that technique worked, since it certainly doesn't with me. YUCK!!!

The movie hadn't started yet and I paid no attention to any of the other products being pitched which included regular Coke,, just that one said, I'm a can of shit, try me anyway. and I said, Okaaaaay,
@Sgt_Spanky Just the pleasure and excitement of being at the movies was probably enough. Smart people, advertisers. But Amazon seems to have the best grasp of how to hook customers, using the borders of Facebook pages.
It is gross.
