Sometimes being civil just doesn't get it done. I can live with the anger, resentment, and the condemnation. Not a problem.

You are right. There are times when the degree of incivility is such that it merits righteous indignation.

Not necessarily. I am always civil (if slightly sarcastic) and yet, for example, yesterday I was called a "whiny fuck" and told to "grow the fuck up", along with several similar remarks; just because someone here disagreed with my comments on his post.

People in today's culture are used to hurling invective when they have no actual point to make.

Stay with your civility. Those people are simply showing their lack of character and intelligence.

@believeinlove Absolutely correct. As "conscience doth make cowards of us all," anonymity makes bullies and thugs out of approximately ten percent of us.

Usually this is true. Some days there is incivility everywhere.
