JOIN MY CHURCH AND BE HAPPY!
I couldn't really care if anyone believes in a god - as long as they respect others who don't share the same beliefs. Churches give people a sense of community and they can be very social whilst us poor atheists have no-where to go and linger in our existential misery. That's why I'm starting a church - the Church of Atheistology (may get some tax breaks as well). Free thought, hippy dancing, magic mushrooms (I luv gold-tops if I can find them) and debauchery will be encouraged. If L.Ron Hub could do it so can we. Standup my fellow atheists!
Who wants to join? May be you can help me with the name of a book we got to write to promote the new organization. It would include aliens - the outer space kind, from different exo-planets not the stoned kind. I'm just 'trying to think but nothing happens' (quote from Curly in the 3 stooges) - Athiestics, Obstrectics, Obscuretics, Poohetics? Help me out! You'll get a discount on the 10% tithe - 5% only (terms and conditions apply).

There is already a Church of the Bong started in PA years ago...I know the leader well...er, I knew...he is dead now...perhaps it still exists? ha ha ha
This is funny, and reminds me of some of the crazy material my sister and I used to come up with. We learned the Hebrew alphabet and used it to write our own "scriptures" basically any nonsense my poor old father with early Alzheimer's would mutter. Some of it was really philosophical. We also stole crystal shards from our Chandler and wore them around our necks. We called them The Guiding Lights.

Believe it or not, there are secular churches. We have one in Houston called Oasis.

Green_eyes you look gorgeous but Houston? Don't they shoot people there that don't fit into the southern culture?
@jules4169 ha! Thank you for the compliment. Houston is very diverse community and America’s fourth largest city. The problem with Texas is not the cities, it’s the guns and god people in the rural areas. Not sure which they love more??
