Has the thought ever crossed your mind that the big bang was when god committed suicide because he was alone? And he can't manipulate circumstances, all he can do is watch evolution unfold in it's random beauty. I'm not purposing a theory, just having fun with mental masturbation. Freethinkers can do that.
Love it! Hey, imagination is where all the great stories come from. How can anyone rebuke you just for sharing a random theory as food for thought? That is totally ridiculous. I like to have fun with alternate "theories" of existence too, like aliens waiting to harvest us (Jupiter Ascending), or that maybe we were visited by a sentient spaceship of a long dead alien race who gave us some guidance 7000 years ago, then got bored and left (Bobiverse books).
Maybe someone will steal your idea and make it into a movie .
You might not be so alone in that thinking... in Walsh's "Conversations with God", existence was the result of god fractionating into zillions of bits in order to have lots of experiences. I took that to mean that extreme boredom was a very real possibility, prior.
If god committed suicide, and that produced the big bang, then by deffinition then there is no longer any god to do any creating or have any vengeance, or to be jealous. just a dead god, taht has become the new universe. Nice try, but I don't think it will fly with the religious set.
Hmm good theory how would you expand upon it
I DO BELIEVE IN GOD, I DO BELIEVE IN GOD. I DO, I DO.
Holla this enough times.
When the number of people chanting god's name reaches a critical mass, this will trigger the apocalypse, which is the Unity, the Singularity... when all the particles in the Universe begin to recombine we will cease to exist as individuals and God will be restored. And we will live forever as part of him.
Oooooo! This is like a "What If Game". Okay....
What if...The big bang is a cell dividing and the universe is one element in that cell? Would that mean we are part of an animal or plant in some mega-universe?
Thoughts anyone?
Are you being serious? Could be. Sometimes I wonder if we all don't have a different version of the universe. They say that life is what you make it out to be. What if God was different to everyone and we all experienced him in a different reality?
In a what-if game, anything goes.
@splittingzero If no one ever said what if, would we...have fire and bbq's how about calculators and computers? Would we have stories and books and movies, clothing made from fibers instead of skins? Without what if's would we have had the steam engine then the combustion engine?
Without what if's would there be progress?
Well, the important thing is that God is a "HE." A female god would be ridiculous, of course.
What if God was a dog or a cat or maybe even a dinosaur?
I'm simply responding to the chosen gender pronouns of the original post. You pre-selected Gawd's gender, ya know.
