Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.There is more than one model for capitalism. The present model is a form of predatory or cannibalistic capitslism. The model is short term and short sighted. It operates on quick profit, regardless of what it does to the economy, the community, the nation. They have no compunction about destroying their own industry in order to reap a quick profit. This is not the only model, just the most cancerous and unhealthy.

Yes unregulated capitalism is simply not sustainable. Certainly with today's computer power and untold millions who would like to realize positive change, solutions to every problem could be identified. We are,within this greed glorifying system, crippled. Maybe the younger progressive generation will find a way out of the repression of our social structures.
