Try living in Illinois for a while. You might change your mind.

I used to visit friend in Illinois, for the "On The Water Front" music festival in Rockford. The general views were fiscally conservative, but socially liberal. That was my impression anyway.

I think both IL and WI are beautiful areas, but I woudl nto want to live in either because of the winters.
