So Game of Thrones Ended. For me watching it was a Labour of Love. It was my Daughter Debra Guernica Favorite Show/Movie and She Left Us last August. I Didn't cared for the show myself but I Binged the Whole Saga last 2 weeks in her Honor. I am sure she was watching it with me Tonight Somehow because strangely I slept thru most of the Episode (a first). No complaints or bitching from me about the story or ending. Debra will always be My Arya Stark and I know she is Well and Happy West of Westeros... Peace!
Lovely photos...cherish the memories! I can empathise with your loss, being in the same situation. Can’t compare notes on GOT though, never watched it, although much of it was filmed less than an hour from my home.
It seems I'm the only person on the planet who did not watch Game of Thrones.
I don't like science fiction, horror, apocalyptic or violent movies.
I am with you... it is hard to find a show I can relate to. I used in my youth to love science fiction, apocalyptic and violent movies... but I am well passed all that. I like period movies... specially circa 1400 - 1600 England History because been very documented and well represented in film. I loved the series Penny Dreadful but usually horror movies are not my horror. I am the only person I know that can name the 6 wives of Henry the VIII, 2 that were cousins were the ones that lose their heads. I love Paris from the 1850's because of Impressionism, expressionism, etc. Magritte, Lautrec, Van Gogh, Matisse, Renoir, etc, etc, etc. Never been into dragons and if everybody is watching something... I rather not watch it. I love Vampires stories but couldn't get into True Blood... That's Life... You are not Alone... I did it only for her... it was her show!!! Peace.. I am with you!!!
@GipsyOfNewSpain You may be interested in looking in t SCA , they do Medieval Reinenactment .
@Cast1es Saw some last year in Maryland... loved... my knight won the tournament.
Nope - I just didn’t have the inclination to subscribe to HBO. I did read the books, but apparently the two aren’t very similar.
@Haemish1 Never read the books... to think an episode cost them 15 millions... Fiction is fiction is fiction... unable to understand those bitching about the ending... No doubt it was a Huge Enterprise!!!
I have not seen one episode of GoT yet. Middle ages and flying dragons are no longer my thing.
I enjoyed the Dune series of books in my 20s. Lost interest in science fiction after that.
