What do you think? Can Trump be removed by impeachment or does he need to be defeated? Robert Reich says he must lose the election to be removed. [facebook.com]
@VictoriaNotes The reply and react button on my laptop doesn't work (still). At least this part still works. The article is 7 pages, about average for this periodical. Some of your comments are also long but they are worth reading.
@VictoriaNotes I started the article on my way to Friday Harbor. We are again testifying about our pot farm issue (I actually spoke). The beginning was mind boggling to me and I made a comment to others in my group I must have been one of the lucky ones not to have been molested.
The house of representatives MUST impeach Trump if they find the legal evidence to do so. If the evidence exists and they fail to at least try to impeach him then they will weaken our democracy by not exercising their constitutional power and duty as a check against corruption in the executive branch. Subsequently, all future generations will likely suffer corruption in the executive branch. This is not about partisanship or pragmatism. This is about protecting the values, principles, and moral health of our nation for the future regardless of removing Trump from office.
If the House votes for impeachment, the Republican-dominated Senate will kill the bill. Voting for impeachment will just rile up Trump's base. Trump will go nuts tweeting:
"Democrat WITCH HUNT! NO OBSTRUCTION!!! WE WIN!!!!"
Trump must lose the election instead.
Thank you.
