Why would I want to hurt my brain by jumping over the silly hurdles put up by this . Com just to get a possibility txt chat with some one out there who I will never meet in real life...
First of all, I never say never, well because...you never know! Secondly, because we are a pretty great group of people (we are brainy, witty, funny, creative, talented, and sarcastic) and you might be surprised what you find after jumping a few of those hurdles (really more like stepping stones).
Welcome to our world! Jump right in! I'd venture to say by your post, you are already at home.
The copperplate "Enternity" was written in chalk throughout the the streets of Sydney, Australia by a reformed alcoholic from 1932 until his death in 1962....it is estimated that he wrote this over 500,000 times...for many years it was a mystery as to who was responsible for this until he was discovered and photographed...His name is Arther Stace. He died in 1962. A truly wonderful person and a personal hero of mine....A great Australian.
I share some of your reservations. However, this is a site with many members who have a wide variety of views. And you can find different interest groups to explore. If you are talking with others about something you enjoy, it shouldn't seem difficult. Not everything here requires intense focus. If you are interested in meeting someone who shares your views, some give and take is necessary. If you are not willing to figure out a way to meet someone, your desire to find someone may need stronger commitment
commitment now thats a responsibility I've dodged for some time now....
I think I must have wandered in via some little-known backroads route rather than the way you came as I don't recall any hurdles along the way. In fact, I just signed up and started chatting - it was pretty easy, really.
I think I blundered my way here by the spirit of bourbon route...think I should take a different road in the future...
