As an atheist, what plans have you made re: your last wishes after your death?
Do you have someone you can TRUST that will respect and implement your wishes?
I have a will that stipulates that i want to be cremated, memorial service up on the Blue Ridge Parkway overlooking a beautiful waterfall and Maggie Valley and no mention of religion at that service.
Do i trust my brother to respect this? When i first asked him he said absolutely yes. Since then i discovered hes been born again. So no im going to have to make ither arrangements.
I trust my religious daughter but she is weak and will give in when getting pressured by others to make it about religion.
I know i won't be there to object and get angry. But the thought of people turning it into a relgious ceremony makes my blood boil.
So what plans have you made?
Tie me to a bunker buster bomb and drop it on the Pentagon.
excellent.
Or I could say "I'm really a witch, if you don't respect my wishes, I'll come back to haunt you and make your life hell on earth." wink wink.
After I die, my family and friends may do whatever they wish with my body, which no longer feels or thinks. I suppose the best thing to do with a body is bury it to sequester the carbon or feed it to the vultures to recycle the nutrients.
having been fed to vultures known as capitalists while alive why not be fed to the real, useful vultures when dead?
good idea.
@callmedubious It is a common practice in India, I think.
