I wonder if the money our government gains with the tariffs will be then used to pay for "The Wall"? Then Trump can claim he made Mexico pay for it!

I bring containers of specialty batteries in from China that are not available here. China or Mexico is not paying the tariffs. Tariffs are paid by the company importing items as they clear US Customs and then are passed on to the American public as higher cost.
The US consumer will pay for the tariffs
