The Omaha Metropolitan Area Humanists Association (OMAHA) is having their monthly social gathering First Friday on Friday June 7th at 6:30 at Ragazzi's Pizza at 16909 Lakeside Hills Plaza, [google.com] If you're up for good conversation with like minded folks, this is the place for you. If you're not sure if the group is for you, come anyway, we're friendly and we'll convince you

We had a good turn out, a few new folks but no one new from Ag.com. I arrived "early" because I was the designated host (all other board members had other committments.) There were members who arrived before I did, which made me happy, I don't like sitting alone in restaurants...

@TheGreatShadow No, no one took pics. Funny, we all had phones out at some point, I shared new pictures of my babies (both cats and grands).
I'll be in Omaha tomorrow, but only in the morning. Don't know where lakeside hills plaza is. Have to look it up.

@TheGreatShadow I am not a fan of pizza. The restaurant does offer more than just pizza. I go for the companionship, the discussions, the membership.
It's too long a commute from Italy. But I wish you all the best. Have a great gathering!

C'mon over and meet us! We're a great group of folks. And conversely if we ever go to Italy or Tennessee we will find you.
@HippieChick58 I'll be leaving Italy on the 9th and arriving in Tennessee on the 10th. Too late for your conference. Maybe next time....

@HippieChick58 Cool. Maybe in July. We'll see if I can get away. I'll be looking for your notices. I'm not really in the Omaha area, but the trip will probably be worth it.
