In you mind, what are you first? Where would your ultimate affinity lie? An atheist/agnostic, citizen of your country, or human being. Or, indeed, anything else such as unlabelled drifter.

it's circumstantial. i don't live by a label. i have several from which i can choose, which do not conflict with one another and sometimes do or don't have anything to do with one another, depending on what is needed. i'm just me.

I'm me.

what are you asking?

I'm an atheist because I can think critically. So my first loyalty is to finding out what is real.

Labels again, who cares?

Horndog, then humanist, then country.

I'm a lover first. A human second.

In my mind I am (mr. Change) first. I am me. Everything that I am is by my choice. Governments kill, citizens destroy, the poor eats each other. The rich don't care. Men want power, women want control. I refuse to tie myself to anyone or anything other than my children. I'm not even controlled by them. Humans are weak and don't understand what it takes to create true peace.

"A man sees in the world what he carries in his heart." ~ Goethe

@kodimerlyn that is a long conversation and cannot be stated as fact as true peace has not been achieved. I would be glad to answer thoroughly through messaging.

I don't recall making a choice to be a human, so I suppose that would just be a fact of my birth and my parents. Being a citizen of the country I reside in is also sort of an accident of where I was born, but I do have choices I can make about this aspect of life. Being agnostic is a choice based on my thoughts, reading, and conclusions. How would I rank them? I suppose being a citizen and an agnostic are dependent on being human and having the human capacity for thought which defines the other two. The other two are mutually exclusive since I am able to change one without requiring a change to the other.

First and foremost I am a consciously aware entity. DNA testing has established that my body is 100% human. It is also a US citizen.

Human being, being human.

We have a saying here "We are all Jock Tamsons bairns". In other words we are all the same regardless of nationality, race, ethnicity, religion and class. I'm happy with that.

I'll go with I'm either a Terran or to put it in the Klingons terms an Earther
