A really great piece of makeout music is Air’s “La Femme d’argent” from their 1998 “Moon Safari” release, as are the two lovely Beth Hirsch compositions also included on the album.

Bread is another great band with a fine catalog of music which has never failed to put me my love interest in the mood.

Lastly, call me old-school, but just about anything Samba/Bossanova. It’s playful, elegant, refreshing, and very sexy-groovy. Artists to look for are Marisa Monte, Rosa Passos, Astrud Gilberto, Elis Regina, Elaine Elias, and Bebel Gilberto, just to name a few. If you don’t have their records, no problem. Just play Pandora’s Bossanova station, and you’re good to go.
