The military dogs always make my heart swell with pride....loyal to their handler, loyal to our country...
Yeah if you get the chance see movie called Max is about MWD military war dog
@bobwjr I have a fantastic picture of my dad holding a little dog when he was in Italy during the WWII...he loved that dog...it helps make the lives of some of the soldiers a bit more tolerable in adverse conditions...but always sad when you lose one...
I am not sure that the military are such heroes, after all look what they are doing around the world.
I believe the men and women who risk their lives are heroes, but heinous acts are sometimes committed during war that could be considered less than heroic and inhumane. I agree with you.
The real cowards and perpetrators are the bullies who send those men and women to fight in unnecessary, sometimes illegal wars. I imagine waking everyday, to be at war, could possibly make villains out of good men.
The US is mostly guilty of this.
Sure my uncle had the Yorktown shot out from under him at the battle of coral sea preventing Australia being invaded by the Japanese no heroes right
@Bobby9 Once again, are you serious ??? [en.wikipedia.org]
@Bobby9 You don't like Wikipedia ?. Ok here's an article by Niall Ferguson in the Guardian which is a respected English newspaper.
If you want to live in your deluded little world where the US is the good guy and everyone else is bad well that's your problem but please don't insult the intelligence of others by expecting them to swallow it. [theguardian.com]
@Bobby9 I don't know if you are being deliberately obtuse, or if the matter is too complex for you . I have given you two links to details of US hegemony and here is a third and final one. I hope this makes it clear.[middlebury.edu]
