Very cool, but having worked with metals for years you'd be amazed at some of the sounds that would come from them glass also has amazing sound qualities.

I nearly bought a gong, though had not even thought of using for a doorbell. What a new idea! Thank you.

@AnonySchmoose I've got Vietnamese inspired home. Lots of statues, carvings, and furniture from Vietnam.
