Our "Jewish" orientation is reflected in some of the leadership decisions. We model some of the fine ethics of the Jewish culture, specifically to "honor the presence of an elder" -Leviticus
And all the faiths that echo the belief to "do unto others..." Acceptance and respect for people who are different. Kindness and forgiveness matters. We are also trying to create community.
Everyone Welcome...no experience necessary... Of course, any previous experience is just great.
It's a "learn on the job" type of undertaking! And if you can read...intelligently from a script- you're in.
The Jewish Senior Theatre Ensemble (nondenominational) is recruiting actors for our "reader's theatre" production of an adaptation of H.G. Wells "The Invisible Man". Please understand that a reader's theatre format of performance requires no memorization. We read from scripts developing character and relationship, pace, and interpret the story through our voices...we will rehearse to the level of performance ready- and then start booking shows. We are alerady scheduled at the Royal Oak Public Library auditorium for 2020
Get in the on ground level please. We are an off-shoot of a different senior theatre company, that already has a few shows under our collective belts.
