$20 per minute is reasonable if paid upfront for 5 minutes and each successive 5 minute period. Oh, and double for politicians and religious messages.

@TheGreatShadow no need to be greedy. If they want to sell you something, just speak slowly and ask a lot of questions.

I have no soliciting signs on both of my doors. I only had one guy try to sell me something since I put them on. One time a jesus freak did knock on the door. Pointed at the sign and slammed the door in his face. If I'm not expecting anyone, I answer the door with a pistol.
