Kamala Fail: She may have done well in the recent debate, but this is not the person I want to see become the next US president (and not for this reason alone). You don't need to listen to the commentary. This short clip speaks for itself.
Kyle obviously likes to hear himself talk. He's awfully repetitive, and obviously opinionated.
Israel is well funded by the American Taxpayer; perhaps too well funded IMO...they have over 200 Nuclear-tipped warheads on many submarines...no wonder Iran wants nukes.
"Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $134.7 billion (current, or noninflation-adjusted, dollars) in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding. Almost all U.S. bilateral aid to Israel is in the form of military assistance...'
But having said that; Harris is essentially "centrist" when it comes to Israel.
“Her support for Israel is central to who she is,” Harris’ campaign communications director, Lily Adams, told McClatchy. “She is firm in her belief that Israel has a right to exist and defend itself, including against rocket attacks from Gaza.”
Harris’ embrace of Israel — one of her first foreign travel destinations as senator — and her diplomatic response to some of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s most controversial policies are consistent with Democrats’ traditional support for the Jewish state.
Her centrist positions on Israel could help her hit back against inevitable attacks from the Trump campaign, which has signaled that it plans to play up Democratic divisions on the issue in the general election.

I've done extensive research on Harris and I am not a fan.
@Athena I guess we'll learn more as more debates come up. She asks sharp, poignant questions...her drilling of Kavanaugh was notable;
We will. In my comments here, I've elaborated on why I am not in favour of her as a candidate. The only compliment I can give her is that she debated well.
Her drilling of Kavanaugh is hardly impressive as far as her effectiveness and competency as a potentially good president.
I don't trust her, because.. well, she is not trustworthy. And, she is not the candidate who can beat Trump.
@Athena Well see. I'm backing Bernie with my $$ if he gets the nomination....but at this point it's up in the air.
I see you're Canadian...why so intently interested in American politics?
I'm a Bernie fan as well and I've also contributed to his campaign. That's because Bernie as president is the right thing for America.
My partner is American and he believes he, and others like him, should be taxed fairly to support other Americans in need.
I've been asked this question about my interest in American politics repeatedly. How can someone not care about the politics of the most powerful nation in the world that has bullied surrounding nations and waged illegal wars? These are wars its citizens don't necessarily agree with.
I think the US is also one of the only places that concerns itself only with its own politics.
In some cases, not even its own. When Americans are asked who won the civil war, the answers are astounding.
Answers included, "we did" and "the south" and "the Democrats."
We are all part of a world, not just the nation in which we live, or in which we were born. Caring seems like it should be a given.
@Athena Good answer! With that lunatic walking around with a portable instant nuclear launch signal...it's intimidating to know that he's half-a-bubble off.
I don't think Kamala has a chance this time around.
We got gobsmacked when we tried to run a woman following Obama....we clearly underestimated the racism and sexism in America.
We can't let that happen again. She's good...but not great...and America isn't ready for her.
She refused to prosecute Steve Mnuchen.
"ONEWEST BANK, WHICH Donald Trump’s nominee for treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin, ran from 2009 to 2015, repeatedly broke California’s foreclosure laws during that period, according to a previously undisclosed 2013 memo from top prosecutors in the state attorney general’s office.
The memo obtained by The Intercept alleges that OneWest rushed delinquent homeowners out of their homes by violating notice and waiting period statutes, illegally backdated key documents, and effectively gamed foreclosure auctions.
In the memo, the leaders of the state attorney general’s Consumer Law Section said they had “uncovered evidence suggestive of widespread misconduct” in a yearlong investigation. In a detailed 22-page request, they identified over a thousand legal violations in the small subsection of OneWest loans they were able to examine, and they recommended that Attorney General Kamala Harris file a civil enforcement action against the Pasadena-based bank. They even wrote up a sample legal complaint, seeking injunctive relief and millions of dollars in penalties.
But Harris’s office, without any explanation, declined to prosecute the case.
Mnuchin, the former CEO of OneWest, was already facing challenges in his upcoming Senate confirmation hearings on account of his bank’s ruthless foreclosure practices, ranging from locking out one homeowner during a Minneapolis blizzard to foreclosing on another over a 27-cent payment shortfall.
“After years peddling the kind of dangerous mortgage-backed securities that eventually blew up the economy, Mnuchin swooped in after the crash to take a second bite out of families by aggressively — and sometimes illegally — foreclosing on their homes,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren said in a statement last month. Sen. Ron Wyden, the top Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, warned: “Given Mr. Mnuchin’s history of profiting off the victims of predatory lending, I look forward to asking him how his Treasury Department would work for Americans who are still waiting for the economic recovery to show up in their communities.”
The consistent violations of California foreclosure processes outlined in the memo would indicate that Mnuchin’s bank didn’t merely act callously, but did so with blatant disregard for the law.
According to the memo, OneWest also obstructed the investigation by ordering third parties to refuse to comply with state subpoenas.
Whether Mnuchin directed efforts to prevent scrutiny of his bank’s practices could be a focus of the confirmation hearings.
The memo also raises questions about then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris, who was sworn in as a U.S. senator on Tuesday, and who will soon have to vote on Mnuchin’s appointment.
Why did her office close the case, deciding not to “conduct a full investigation of a national bank’s misconduct and provide a public accounting of what happened,” as her own investigators had urged?"

Kamala Harris is a cop who always sides with other cops, regardless of what is right.
She has sided with police officers over innocently convicted people.
She was against body cameras on police officers (this is a no brainer.. officers behave better while wearing them).
She is a drug warrior against legalized marijuana, which is a move that over polices black and brown communities. Harris had a political opponent who was in favour of legalizing ... she called it preposterous and irresponsible and laughed.
She defended California's 3 strikes law. Private prisons lobbied for this law, as it makes them richer.
She tried to dismiss a case, which was crucial to solitary confinement law. Solitary confinement is torture.
She pushed to criminalize truancy, which again has an impact on black and brown communities. This would give parents whose children skip school, criminal records.
She takes the position that sex work should be illegal. This puts sex workers more at risk, and in danger. Seems she just loves to arrest people, unless it's Steve Mnuchin.
She defended California's death penalty laws.
She is massively pro Israel... was in favour of giving them aid, no strings attached, despite their lovely and highly organized apartheid system.
She is not in favour of Palestinian rights.
She is good at playing the politician role, but there is nothing genuine about her overall.
And, if she were actually in support of black and brown communities, her policies would also support them. Instead, she purports to be, in her cheesy adds, which are full of platitudes and cliches, but don't hold any policy substance.
Harris was a firm proponent of civil asset forfeiture, which is legalized robbery - by cops!
Harris' answer was disappointingly tight lipped about the antagonism by Israel toward Palestine.
Exactly.
my dog would be better than trump
At least then you'd have an honest president, who is also very cute.
@Athena yes and they shit on you because they need a shit. who knows with people?????
