Fireworks are going off. News flash it is after the 4th. You can legally fire them off until midnight on the 4th. I hate these annoying things! I think you can buy them a week or two before. What I liked about Omaha is when I lived there, could not buy them there. Now you can buy them for 3 days.

Dumb waste of money. A former friend was lighting some off a few a couple years ago. Held a Roman candle in his hand. After all the balls were fired, he looked Dow the barel to make sure it was done. Great reason to lose an eye. Just a few seconds after the last went off. That's probably why we can't have nice things like nhs. Well, a minor one...
