The Great Depression drove the deportation of over a million Americans with Mexican descent.American history to be ashamed of? Not taught in schools? Early racism in the United States. Have we come very far? Not after listening to denials from the GOP and Mitch McConnell whose own wife emigrated from the Far East?

My mom, born in the US, an American citizen, went from living in a house with a yard and white picket fence, to cooking meals outside over hot rocks. Her family had no home in Mexico. She was 5 years old.

The history of our occupation and take over of what today we call the United States is wall to wall genocide, human rights violations and purges of population. We were taught to hate native Americans, Jews, Catholics, Irish, Latinos, Chinese, and most of all African Americans.
I love it when someone says, "Go back to Africa!" You know why? Because humanity rose from there. All of us are ancestored from Africa.
The United States is a people that has hate and racism built into our DNA... Admit it or not!
