And there’s a lot of people who thought Obama was a good president even though he did an enormous amount of damage to race relations in this country. Yes I agree there’s a lot of hate here. The Trump piñata group is a good example of that.

There is a site specific to Agnostic Conservatives . They are nasty if you make liberal comments.

Been there, done that.. I went there to hear both sides. ... I left the group when they starting talking about banning me... A whole bunch of creeps if you ask me
@Cutiebeauty That was only after you banned one of us from your political debate group. And the fact of the matter is you were never banned from the conservative group.

I'm not really talking about politics here... I don't mind disagreements at all... It's the few bitter people in this community who always say negative hateful things... You and I have disagreed before but I don't think of you as a bad guy...

Sometimes, people think they are very righteous when, in fact, they're not. We're just humans with our limitations. By the way, something more important: how is your baby?

Here in the community... One member was going out of his way to make snarky and sarcastic remarks to everything I posted... I blocked him...
During the fight to end slavery, there was hate.
When MLK Jr. fought racial inequality, there was hate.
When women fought for the right to vote, there was hate.
When people stood up for gay rights, there was hate.
Good things happened as a result of people fighting for the right things.
I don't like haters, but not hating certain things is a path to destruction.. and anger has sometimes led to better outcomes.
I believe in free speech, which is why I don't block all the racists and bigots on here. I want to know who these assholes are.
They have a right to speak... but so do those of us who take issue with what they say.
Yes, it's not pleasant at times, but turning away from it won't mean it's not there.
I do understand. If it bothers you, especially with a new baby, try your best to move past those comments or posts.
Not everyone is up for it.

There's a civil rights saying, " No justice no peace!" which makes a lot of sense because when the oppressing group is not afraid of consequences for being unjust, they will never concede anything, like power or privilege to the oppressed. As Fredrick Douglas also said," Power concedes nothing without a fight. It never has and it never will." Like Malcom X, who I won't bother quoting because you already get the picture, the only way the rich or the white power structure has ever given up anything or conceded any improvement of conditions in America is when they are afraid of violence or even revolution from the oppressed.
Things have to get worse before they get better. And that includes ugliness and conflict from both sides. History since the 60s civil rights movement show that only playing nice and never threatening violence against the powers that be gets you nowhere when it comes to inequality in money or power. The only concessions since the 60s the oppressed in the US have achieved against the ruling class have been in human rights areas that have cost the rich and corporations nothing in money or power.

The trolls will just continue to throw out their predictable garbage no matter how many facts and figures you show. I have a limit to how many times I will respond, then I just put 
icons on their spew and move on.
You are correct. There's no cure for that kind of stupidity. But, I so enjoy making fun of them.
Why are you saying that? I have limited time to spend on this site. I have seen the occasional disagreement, but I haven't seen hatred.
