Trump is simply an egomaniacal self-promoter who knows how to use the media to his corrupt ends. I would love to see our professional journalists make a pact in advance of a new conference to demand that Trump answer all legitimate questions. Picture the following hypothetical interchange and its effects:
Trump calls a news conference. In that conference, a journalist asks a legitimate question that Trump does not want to answer. Trump disparages the journalist, and then quickly points to a different journalist to take his or her question. That journalist says: “Mr. President, X asked you a legitimate and important question, and we insist that you answer it.”
Trump angrily disparages that journalist, and points to a third journalist to take a new question. That journalist says: “Mr. President, we repeat: X asked you a legitimate and important question. Answer that question, please. Or this news conference is over.”
Trump explodes in fury, and points to a fourth Journalist. At that point the vast majority of the journalists imply walk away.

Can you imagine that scene? Would it not be delightful? Tell our journalists: “Show that kind of courage.”

Excuse my Englishness, but why do you dislike Trump, hasn’t he done great things, unchained by being wealthy in his own right unlike previous presidents who are bought and paid for before they even occupy the office?
I’m not saying I like him, I fact I think he’s a tawt but can’t deny he’s done a good job!

I can't see a single good thing that he has done. He is a con artist, and evidently has you conned.

@wordywalt how did he con me? He did go to North Korea did he not, or did I dream it? Maybe you are conned into believing the bullshit twisting of his words that I have seen quite a lot of, I've decided he's not a tawt I like him even more now 😂

@Kitz I live here and I see the effects of his words and stupid and corrupt actions every day. You seem to think you know more about the man and the effects of his actions from second hand observations from long distance. Give me a break!

@wordywalt I’ve met some pricks in my time, but you sir, are a Cactus 👆🏼

@Kitz My dear lady, if you are aware of just how egomaniacal, greedy, corrupt, totally dishonest and sociopathic Trump is, and you still support him, I do have to question your intelligence and morality. If you are not aware, you should inform yourself before you speak, so that you do not embarrass yourself.

@Kitz You show the same illogical reasoning and incivility that Trump supporters do in the US. Too bad.

Demanding that Trump answer a question is an exercise in futility.

A compulsive liar, Trump stonewalls, walks out, sicks his lawyers and lies, lies, lies.

Ytur, but we need to make it more than abundantly clear by DEMANDING that he answer legitimate questions.

Would not work. You've seen him move off of difficult questioners to to the more favorable already. He may have actually disparaged the person he didnt answer as fake news and literally said we'll let someone we 'like' ask the questions. In steps fox news reporter or worse.
