Hilda looks pretty great to me, especially since she's active and full of vigor.
Health is more important than body shape. If excessive weight is making a person unhealthy, that has nothing to do with body shaming.
Similarly, being slender doesn't mean you're fit or healthy.
I agree.
Duane Bryers artist....Betcha Hugh Hefner never let Playboy readers compare Vargas to Hilda for real women at home instead of nude anorexic Barbie centerfolds
Lol well I'm sure the guys may of preferred the nude centerfolds. But everyday women love Hilda.
Not saying the skinny center fold aren't beautiful in their own ways
@Incognitohippy Vargas drew beautiful long legged women in nightgowns or see through dainty outfits to see huge gravity defying tits and bright red erect engorged nipples....often in high heels if not Cinderella sorts of slippers......bedroom poses often bent over picking up champagne glasses with their tiny butts up high.....pink ribbon sandals that Hilda would never wear ....I love Hilda and only remember Vargas for his paint brush skills....Playboy ended centerfolds and most nudes a few years ago to stress art music interviews and "advice" unwilling to compete anymore with free nudity all over the internet
I think Hilda and I could be fraternal twins separated at birth.....but we are too old for incest to matter beyond inbreeding years ......she looks like a Norman Rockwell original but I have never seen her before.....just foodie lovers like me and "she" in my past
There are lots of prints of her. I fell in love with her because looks like the women I knew growing up and know now.
@Incognitohippy role models......and my ideal Iowa bride my age to picnic with in a rowboat on a HEALTHY farm pond....I am in heaven now searching for my real life HILDA
Apparently the average size women is now between 14 - 16 in European/Australian measure.
I think here also
Most men like normal women with curves. But they're not picky; I've been skinny all my life and had to run men off, but my observation is that if men aren't good enough to attract the bustiest, youngest, blondest, tallest women, they go for the next youngest/attractive, etc.
In the end, though, most men are sexually attracted to most women, so no reason for me to feel particulalrly flattered by it. I'm a senior, 66 years old, my hair went gray in the past few months, I'm recovering from cancer, I'm only 5' 3," brunette and living with my sister, but men still hit on me, so they will take what they hope they can get.
In my case, I'm in no position to date seriously until I'm better.
Even though I hike two hours each morning, I still have cancer health issues.
Oh, and if trolls rush in to attack me, I will just block them.
Proportional to build what's wrong with that?
Not a thing. I'm speaking of a realistic look at womens bodys. The media would have everyone think women are a size 3 when most are between 14 to 20.
Hilda represents a closer look to reality.
@Incognitohippy I couldn't agree more
Realistic women for realistic men.
I'm not sure if it's TRUE for men but women are bombarded by images of stick skinny women as real women. Where it's not at all true the vast majority of us
@Incognitohippy I think it's about 50/ 50.
