Do you think that it has ever occurred to Trump supporters that if Trump were not president and were investigated for a possible security clearance, he would be deemed unfit for even the lowest level of security clearance> His lifelong pattern of dirty dealing, lying, playing people against each other, duplicitous and illegal conduct, probable money, laundering , and abnormal sexual behavior would label him as an extreme security risk.

Dont' think Trump loyalists care about his questionable history.

I have been trying to wonder how he was able to get into the White House to begin with, do they not do the massive security clearance for it? I mean, for my job, I had to fill out this massive form that goes into everything including mental illness, finances, ties to foreign nationals, etc. I had to have a massive interview with an investigator (possibly from the FBI) because a few things were red-flagged. So far, so good, as I haven't heard anything since then and the interview was over a year ago but still! My sister now has gotten a job at the same place I work at and has to go through the whole thing and she too wonders how the heck Trump even got into office unless they don't put you through all of that but you would think they would. I mean he has access to the nuclear codes for crying out loud!

It appears our democracy allows for that, a horrendous mistake..

I’ve noticed Religious Republicans have become expert at selective morality … while they’ve accused us of ‘situational ethics.’ There now remains no question - in their world - the ends justify the means..

I would onlyu modify your statement to read "evangelical or fundamentalistic" Christians ...

I honestly think that they want their end of the world fears to come to fruition. Why not? As far as they are concerned, they'll be protected and once it's all over and done with, all the people they don't want will be gone. So yes, in their eyes, the ends do justify the means because they see themselves above it all anyway. The way their minds work is kind of scary.
