My mother has been in a hospital since May 4th. She went from life support, to palliative care... had a miraculous recovery and is now in a rehab hospital (for 6 weeks).
The total cost of healthcare and medicine to me and my family?
Zero.

The original cloned human insulin, Humalin,from the eighties adjusted for inflation would be about $16 a week. GMOs have gotten cheaper overall so this is generous. Greed is killing people, it really is that simple.
