Lol. I used to belong to a "paranormal" group. We would go out with the explicit intent to debunk everything. We had a psychologist, a PhD in human genetics, an engineer, & I'd do the historical research on the premise (wills, deeds, building plans, utility mapping, etc).

My favorite was the lady who said her cat was possessed by a demon because the cat hissed & ran away when sprayed w/holy water. She claimed her closet was "a gateway to hell" because there was an unusually high electric field measured in the closet...that backed up to her utility room...where the plugs for her washer & dryer (separate units) ran.
