The thing I wonder about the Jeffrey Epstein death is that, on suicide watch, the guards only needed to check on him every thirty minutes. Geez, anyone can kill themselves in under thirty minutes, can't they?
Dummy me, I forgot he was no longer on suicide watch, which may have had more constant surveillance. The question still, is why he was not on suicide watch.
I think it would take some time to make a rope and don't they have cameras 24/7 when on suicide watch?

Yeah, I read that. I was just thinking the 30 minute policy was not sufficient for a determined person.
According to reports I read, he was supposed to have a cell mate (he didn’t) and they didn’t check him every 30 minutes. So yeah, 30 minutes seems a long stretch. But it wasn’t enforced.
I hadn't heard that he was supposed to have a roomie.
