I think the whole point of the petition was more to draw attention to the fact trump is a figure worthy of ridicule and compares unfavourably to his predecessor rather than an actual attempt.
The popularity of the idea and the laughter it has brought, even making it on to the late night talk shows, may drive home to the GOP that their blessed leader is a laughing stock.
It would attract many international tourists.
Obama Avenue would be good for America's economy.
