Depends on who the candidate is that would replace him.

At this point...I'd vote for anyone - anyone who wins the nomination.

Nearly 139 million Americans voted in 2016, according to the United States Elections Project.

This sets a new overall record, surpassing the all-time high of 132 million Americans who voted in the 2008 contest between Barack Obama and John McCain.

But the population has increased since then; so the record number reflects a slight decrease in the per-capita participation.

So that total (n 2016) suggests that only 60% of the country's 232 million eligible voters actually voted this year - thus 139 million voted; 93 million stayed home
