The Trump administration recently argued (and lost) in court the legality of withholding soap and other sanitary products for migrant children. At first I was upset that they would do this to the kids, but then I realized that Trump was just following biblical orders straight from Jesus. In Matthew 19:14
"But Jesus said, Suffer the little children". So there you have it, Trump is just following the words of the bible.

I believe suffer in this case means endure or allow...the second dictionary meaning of “suffer”.

@Bobby9 DUH! Yes!! This is not posted in Fun and Humour ...it’s in the Politics category.
@Bobby9 I expect most people will get it, but there are certainty some who may not. I say this after over a year of posting words in the Uncommon Words & their Meanings group. It is quite surprising how may people don’t know the correct meaning of words...especially if they have more than one meaning. Women’s Suffrage is not spelled as “sufferage” which far as I know it isn’t actually a word....so nothing to confuse it with.
