Former MSNBC Reporter Krystal Ball Exposes Mainstream Media Bias
She also talks about the time she talked bad about Hillary Clinton and was told that her talk about Clinton had to be approved after the Clinton campaign called MSNBC leaders to complain.
A good documentary to watch about the mainstream media's bias, as I'm sure some of you have already, is "Manufacturing Consent" with Noam Chomsky.
another thing that's questionable about this is 'the hill' not a lot of credibility there in my book.
You mean the center left publication?
Overall, we rate The Hill slightly Left-Center biased based on story selection that very slightly favors the left and High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing.
@Piece2YourPuzzle it's owned by the unification church. 'moonies'
@jniece So you're just going to ignore the story or that Media Bias Fact Check says it's a credible news source?
@Piece2YourPuzzle no. i'm not saying this story isn't true. i know it is true. i've vetted and shared this story myself. just reminding everyone to be cautious.
not sure she's had some awakening. might be just exploiting this to stay relevant. maybe. we'll see. pretty sad we even have to concern ourselves with such things.
What awakening? She relayed a story about her time in employment of MSNBC. If you could show us MSNBC disputing it or threatening her with a lawsuit then fine, it becomes not less credible, but more disputable. Why wouldn't you take it at face value? Just because you have a bias towards Democrat politicians? Whether she might be exploiting it to "stay relevant" doesn't mean it's not true either.
@Piece2YourPuzzle pardon me for suggesting we should be skeptical about an international news conglomerate owned by unification church.not saying she's a shill. just keep in mind where she came from and who the hill is. not saying the story is untrue. who has 'bias toward dem politicians'?
@jniece I just responded to what you said is all.
She "came from" MSNBC lol. She boycotted the Rush Limbaugh Show. She also supported higher pay for teachers and wanted a lifetime ban on lobbying by former members of Congress as well as a ban on lobbying gifts. She also wanted to audit influence by special interests. She has worked for CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox, and The Huffington Post, and now she works at the "center-left" The Hill.
She actually sounds pretty liberal/progressive except for her work with Fox.
Is this the same Krystal Ball who ran the "People's House Project" PAC, of which it was reported last year, "thus far, nobody has benefited more financially from the group than Ball herself. Of the $445,000 Ball raised for the group, she paid herself more than a third of that—$174,000—in salary, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission. The majority of her salary—$104,000—came in the first three months of this year alone. That's nearly eight times more than the nearly $22,000 the PHP has used to support its dozen endorsed candidates, some of whom have received just a single $1,000 contribution"?

Consider the source when you see these "shocking exposes".
Consider the actual message and content when you try to smear someone. It's your right to remain completely oblivious because she's talking badly about her former supposedly "progressive/liberal" employer and a supposedly "progressive/liberal" Democrat politician.
Also, when you were supporting Hillary Clinton, I'm sure you didn't say "Is this the same Hillary Clinton............". Fill in the blank because there is a lot you can fill in to that blank.
Did you also have the same opinion when Clinton was taking MILLIONS in corporate money?
The media can be biased but the real attack on mainstream media comes from Donald Trump. He would rather that his view of things be the only view. Jolanta is right in saying it is all about money and power. It would be a hoot in the end if it came out Bernie has more money than Trump.
What Bernie owns is already documented. The media made no qualms about investigating Bernie. They saw everything. His net worth is about $2m in almost a 40 year career in politics. Compare that to people like Pelosi who have amassed $120m and it's nothing. Trump was also said to be worth about $3-$4b. Not even close.
As to the "real attack" on the media, it's the media themselves. Their owners are incredibly biased to whatever makes them more money. They have no hesitation in manipulating or manufacturing consent and not being real journalists beholden to the public.
the 'real' attack is Trump? wtf? msm is owned by fascists who have destroyed free press via monopolization. jjust because Trump says it doesn't mean it isn't true. it is cold hard fact that msm does the bidding for the oligarchs.
@Piece2YourPuzzle isn't 'As to the "real attack" on the media, it's the media themselves. Their owners are incredibly biased to whatever makes them more money' the very same thing i was saying about credibility? am i missing something?
