From today’s Republican politicians, both at state and national levels, those who will be remembered favorably by history will be the ones who showed the moral and patriotic courage to stop enabling the culture of greed, stopped systematically obstructing constructive political action badly needed by our people and country, and stopped pandering to the sheer corruption and lunacy of the Trump presidency. They will be the ones who will have put the well-being of our constitutional democracy, of our nation, and of our people ahead of their greed and corrupt political self-interest. As of now, almost none of them seem willing or able to show such courage and integrity.
