The day after the presidential election in 2016. I had to separate and remove white kids from my high school classroom. They were telling the Hispanic kids that they're going to be deported, taunting and threatening. These were kids that were with each other for months with little to no problems. The entire school's climate changed instantly. It was horrible. It's rampant as it is now acceptable to be a racist, misogynist and bigot.

@sassygirl3869 Don't you imagine some are just going with the crowd and some learn it at home.
@sassygirl3869 this was not happening prior to the election. It may have been in their hearts but they certainly had not displayed it up till that point. I would assume they got those thoughts from their parents. Probably heard them say Trump will get rid of immigrants. Funny thing, one of the boys that was yelling to go back to your country was dating a student who was an immigrant from Italy. Neither of them could see that if he wanted immigrants to leave she should have been included. They only associated immigrants with anyone from a Hispanic background who spoke Spanish.
DAMN! They're all trying to out do trump for new low in the meanness category.
