I've seen articles saying we "hoomans" ingest the equivalent of a plastic credit card a week in micro/nano plastic particles. That seems like a lot. Most of it passing through our system harmlessly.

I just saw a report saying chemicals leach out of the plastic if stored in the heat too long (like in your car I guess).. I could see that.. But how much would you have to drink for it to actually do anything to you? There's always something out there that will get you.

Fine for humans, perhaps. But what about for other, non-mammalian species?
