Agnostics should just start our own political party..
The problem is most seem to be left wing idiots. Might as well call it the Communist party.
Nut jobs on both sides.
I don't know where you draw the line on "socialism bad" , so can't say much lol.
Keep in mind, I'm from Canada, so likely have a different take on things.
For what purpose?
Actual representation
@hippydog so another strand that dilutes right wing opposition?
@Geoffrey51 long story, but after having been involved in federal politics, i now believe the whole two party system is its own losing game.. in many cases the small parties can actually make the biggest changes..
@hippydog I agree they can as pressure groups. The Greens have come a long way in that respect
I know plenty of theistwho i agree with on political issues, more than agnostic/ atheist / freethinkers. I not seeing how a niche political party would help anything
Ive been finding the exact opposite.. but note: i said "agnostic" , not athiest or freethinker..
@hippydog so you d have a tiny political party, made of a tiny group of people with both firm agnostic beliefs, and who rejected other political parties. Basically youd be taking a small group of people who might have been able to make effective contributions in a larger scale organizarion, and render them totally ineffective. But hey, they'd get to hang out with their friends.
I don't think so. Further political fragmentation would play into the hands of the political right.
I was involved politically locally.. found out (i now believe) choosing "the best bet" over true representation is its own type of losing game..
(Long story lol )
