Have you ever done something "iffy" to combat religious indoctrination and influence? My "iffy" activity, when I was nineteen or thereabouts, was going into the vestibule of the local Catholic Church and ripping down the condemned movie list (put there by "The Legion of Decency" ). I then tore the list to pieces and scattered them on the shiny marble floor. Oh . . . and I also quite recently "borrowed" a bible that had been left in my endocrinologist's office by the Gideons (whoever the fuck they are). Somehow, the "borrowed" bible wound up in a dumpster! Now, who would do something like that? Oh . . . and I just recalled that I stopped into the local Catholic church only last year to protest their display of 1000 white crosses on their lawn---representing "the thousands of babies lost each year to abortion". I confronted a priest at the church and told him the white crosses should instead represent all the thousands of innocent children sexually abused by the Catholic clergy. Father was not amused. He told me to leave or he'd call the police.
