I remember the Navy picking up Vietnamese refugees in 79. My ship got a medal for doing so.

After reading the article twice I don't see ANY reason why the Vietnamese would even think of agreeing to such an idea. This is hopefully just a tRump thing to fuel the white racist crowd. Except for the cities, Vietnam is an agrarian society. They have no value to Vietnam. What's in it for them?? Hope I'm correct.
