Polticians are meant to give us the feeling of comfort and hope, while they work for the lobbyist to promote their own agenda.

Politicians are meant to take money from their donors and do as they are told. They used to be met to represent us, unfortunately no longer

Lie, cheat, and steal to further their own useless careers.

Q: “What were politicians made to do?” A: Represent the will of a gyrating public … while adding their personal desires and style.. But do you really want to know..? If so:

They’re elected within districts and states. If their behavior & votes don’t reflect the feelings of the majority of voters within those boundaries, they’ll likely be gone with the next election.

When only angry or single issue voters vote … and the majority don’t feel it’s ‘worth their precious effort,’ we end up governed by ‘angry single issue’ legislators. It’s not ‘their fault,’ smarmy political opportunists are the result of the ‘angry single issue voters!’

So, meet your local Democrats … ignore the angry single issue driven ones.. and help recruit healthy candidates, or run yourself. Once you’ve volunteered for the good ones - you’ll never lump all Politicians as one again ~

It used to be "We the people" ... Now it is "Me and my bank account!"

Politicians have ALWAYS been serving their own self interests. It just that, prior to this administration, they at least thinly veiled their personal greed with being able to get a little work done for the rest of us to make it look like they deserved to be voted in again.

I have voted Republican, Democrat and Indy... I vied myself as an Indy. I vote for who I think would be the best person for the job regardless of how it impacts me. For instance, I voted for Obama twice even though I am big on 2nd Amendment rights. Some tried to warm me away... Nope.

The only thing you can do is to rally the troops to vote in the next election. Unless, of course, they plan to vote for the Cheeto... If that is the case... Tell them they changed voting day to the last Tuesday of the month!

Power crazy people prefer politics though it should not be.

Politicians were supposed to defend the people's interests. In fact they a better job defending theirs.

For politicians its all about being re elected and money unfortunately

It is all about staying in power, and or holding on to their seats for most of those people.
