Sam Bee 2020!

It needs to go, period. This backward hillbilly nation can complicate the most simple of concepts. One person, one vote. That is democracy!

@Bierbasstard One person, one vote PERIOD! There is no other answer, PERIOD!

@Bierbasstard That is majority rule. A city "mob" is no different than a "rural" mob. We get stuck with religious based laws because of ignorant rednecks ( I know that is redundant ). When we were an agrarian society they carried more sway. We are not an agrarian society any longer. They shouldn't have power not commensurate with their population.

@Bierbasstard What do you think happened in the last election. it was designed to take the power from the people and it has succeeded. It is a NATIONAL election. One nation. We will never agree on this. Never. So lets just drop it.

@Bierbasstard I realy don't want a bunch farmers who tend to live 10 to 20 years behind the rest of the country putting backward thinking conservatives in the White House. Fix the system is easy to say. What's your plan. Redistricting has nothing to do with the Presidency. If you think this EC system works l know your wrong, period. So l am through with this conversation. Good day.

It does seem an odd way to choose a leader ... a simple count across the country would be fairer ... or congress and senate vote to decide on the leader (which could lead to government achieving more)

2

The electoral vote was designed to fool people into thinking that they have the freedom to choose.
