Tanya McDowell, an African American women, used a false address in order to enroll her son into a better school district. She was sentenced and served 5 years in jail for this.
When a white, rich, privileged actress, Felicity Huffman, was caught paying for someone to cheat for her daughter on standardized exams to ensure acceptance into a high ranking college institution, she was sentenced to 14 days in jail. All the prosecution went for was one month.
Anyone who says there is no white privilege in America is living under a rock, and just blinded by reality. This is shameful!!

The USA is not home of freedom, because freedom is being taken away from people with bias against those who are less able to defend themselves, it is a system that considers wealth, social status, appearance, even race, to be factors when the courts act. There is no "freedom" that they like to brag so much about, for any citizens other than for the wealthy . . . . and that is why it is them you hear claiming it is so, because they refuse to see outside of their own insulating bubble.

That's freakin' disgusting. Prosecution should have gone hell for leather, make an example of her. A slap on the wrist sends such a bad signal.
