It was bound to happen as the climate warmed. It will be a mess to clean up and reunite bodies with families.

This is going on in many glaciers and other mountains as well. Sometimes bodies and objects thaw out that have historic and scientific value. I wonder if people who lost loved ones on the mountain are attempting to identify them and retrieve the bodies for burial?

They have been for years.

@sassygirl3869 That's good. It's amazing how much more stuff remains. I hope they recycling what they can instead putting it all in a land fill.
