I have always seen the right to 'life' movement as a misnomer. Life is all encompassing and includes all species not just ours. Our species actually is destroying thousands of other species so we/they are not life promoting. It should be right to 'human' life (which again more of us will probably end others lives).

These are side effects of capitalism that is not monitored as it should be. You have not lived in a socialist country. Try Cuba once and let us know what a beauty that is.

I actually have live in a communist country and a social democratic one too. So have plenty of experience from it.

@St-Sinner The social democratic country is the best by far. I now live in Australia and it has a right wing government, not good at all.

@Jolanta America will not be a social democratic country in our lifetime. We cannot digest Obamacare so far. We have lost Congressional and Presidential elections over it. Tectonic shifts have happened since. Dreaming is one and making it happen is another. We have not been able to get one single, not so complicated infrastructure bill in the Congress so far that most say agree on. What makes Bernie and others think they can get extreme ultra liberal bills passed by Congress. All they want is the House and we all know they will not be able to deliver.

Shameful! The prioritisation of pre-life issues instead of real life issues in not just the USA, but in other countries too.
