Be healthy. Eat meat. Finally, some sanity around the hysteria that meat is bad for you. It's not. Eating it made us human. And yes, I get that factory animal practices leave a lot to be desired. That's fixable, as is the way-overstated carbon issue.
And 2% of scientists (all funded by big oil) say climate change is bullshit. Eating too much meat is most likely not too healthy. Moderation. Everyone's bodies do not process all foods the same way. Each individual has to figure out what works for their bodies. I gave up beef and pork after I lost my gall bladder (if you see it somewhere I would like it back), and I lost that roll I was getting in my mid section and my digestive track definitely felt better.
To be honest, before you take it on board, find out who funded the study. Then you will see if there is a bias which is trying to undermine the research of 20 odd years, especially as we know the industry has not improved with feeding of the animals, their lifestyles and hormonal introductions.
“Follow the money” as the adage goes!
20 years of studies, many contradict eachother, dietary guidelines that are clearly not working, or 20k years of history that humans ate as much meat as they could. But... that meat also included organs, blood, and fat.
@MarkiusMahamius Fair enough! Best to check where the funding for the study came from. If it was not ‘an interested party’ I’ll concede.
@Geoffrey51 i think it goes without saying that science is for sale. The days of knowledge for the love of knowledge are pretty much gone.
The results, published in the British Medical Journal, revealed that people who ate the most red meat were 26 percent more likely to die of nine diseases than those who consume the least. Heme iron, a type of iron only present in animal meat, may contribute to the risk of dying from cancer or heart disease. These two disease account for 63% of deaths in the world.
Everything in moderation, a small amount meat products during winter can be beneficial. We only need Vitamin D from meat or substitute it through other methods.
I knew chemotherapy (world war 2 muster gas) and radiation were not the answer claiming cures. As a teenager in 1967 one in 10 have some form of cancer. Today one two women and one in three males will get cancer showing in some form like skin cancer.
I only claim 100% treatment for cancer with four people who are cancer free by radar. Rick Simpson has documents for 5000 patients by 70% cancer free just using cannabis. I am using nutrition and cannabis to be sure.
Where chemotherapy from my last post where nobody could show me any documents to show a better national results than 2.3 % success rate over 5 years with chemotherapy.
Everybody got cancer to some degree. It's your life to fuckup if you develop a serious problem.
@maturin1919 I didn't find a reference to homeopathy in @Castlepaloma posts. He says several times CBD and nutrition.
Wikipedia says, "Homeopathy or homœopathy is a system of alternative medicine created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann, based on his doctrine of like cures like (similia similibus curentur), a claim that a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people would cure similar symptoms in sick people." It's BS.
I'm confused. Does Castlepaloma believe in homœopathy or not?
Homeopathy awareness can make the world a healthier, happier place. It been going for 1000s of ancient years, just not called homeopathic.
Your welcome to your snythetic world where the leading drug of death are Tobacco, alcohol and prescription drug, legal in every country. Where cannabis killed no one and Illegal in every country except two countries.
Believe billionaire's honesty care for your health and the their ownership of the medical profession being the leading cause of death.
What do I care, if you don't.
@Castlepaloma: Know what else has been going on for thousands of years? Polio. Measles, Tuberculosis, plague, Rubella, Malaria... The fact that something is "thousands of years old" means that it's less likely to work and more likely to cause more damage than it helps.
@maturin1919 There is no medical study that a toxin, such as arsenic in small amounts cures arsenic poisoning, nor that a bacteria such as cholera in small amounts cures a cholera infection. If he actually tries to cure himself that way, he may die. Evolution say that stupidity should be fatal.
On the other hand, his diet and CBD are a smart choice. There is hope for him.
After 15 years of pioneering cannabis. Our team pushed to make marrijanna in Canada legal. I think that would put me in a higher League of knowledge and experience. Same for entire Canada being first to using cannabis for cancer patients.
Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations give people with cancer the option to use cannabis for medical purposes to help manage their symptoms and side effects. Talk to your healthcare team about the benefits and risks of using medical cannabis. They can help you decide if it is right for you.
In US Feds and FDA schedules Marrijanna one, meaning no useful purpose and dangerous. They are still in Reefer Madness mode. There will not be any National medical journals to be found. US Government is Corporation-ism, not a Country.

It could be I'm misunderstanding some of the things your saying. Some times I think you nailed it, others seem so out of wack.
I grew up eating meat, and by the time I was 56 my health was poor. In 2000 I had a heart attack, got two stints, and a few months later a back operation. I was diabetic and my feet were becoming numb. Within a year, the numbness turned to pain, really bad pain. I saw six pain specialists, but none had a medicine that helped the pain, not even morphine. For five years I suffered without relief.
My doc told me to stop eating any kind of meat and stop eating all animal products, e.g., dairy and eggs. Within two months my pain stopped and my BP dropped to normal, yet I weighed 450lbs. Since then, I've lost almost 150 lbs, and continue to lose. The great thing is I eat all I need to keep from being hungry. I'm 75 and feel like I will live another 15 years.
IMO that nytimes report is fake news. I still eat meat occasionally, but I'll not risk my health again. Good luck. Some people can eat meat and not suffer as I did.
I agree. What they don't reveal each time when these "scientific" researches come out is who have sponsored them?
The science in the hands of bad people has fooled us many times before.

Very often what we are told and what we believe is not the truth.
Well done on your recovery. I’m proud of you!
@St-Sinner Absolutely. Find the funder, discover the agenda!
St-Sinner what a load of garbage you intake in your mind and body.
@Castlepaloma
The truth and nothing but the truth.

This is an interesting and provocative article, The new studies negate what we’ve been told about nutrition for a long time.
I still think that too much food, especially too much beef, is unhealthy. It’s hard to switch off all the mental conditioning to which we’ve been subjected over the years.
