if there is such a thing as karma then the american ppl are in for a world of hurt.
I consider Karma a failed theory . . . If it were so, war criminals like Henry Kissinger would be living in a world of shit, but that is not the case, and in fact, some of the people that commit some of the worst crimes on the planet suffer no consequences whatsoever . . . .
.
I look at it as the ultimate let-the-filthy-ruler or crooked-ass-politician who has committed all kinds of atrocities off of the hook doctrine. Christianity shares that same fault, in that it holds that people will be rewarded or punished in the afterlife. It takes the responsibility away from society for punishing such behavior, and sublimates it to some abstract non-existent realm . . . . . it serves the very people who do the atrocities. As long as people believe that they will be punished in some "future existence", they are less likely to hold them accountable in the here and now . . . . No surprise that those in power have so much to gain from doctrines like karma, and no surprise that they do what they can to perpetuate and support such belief systems.
.
It would be nice if it really were true though, evidence does not seem to support it though.
@Archeus_Lore ,
yes, sadly, you're right.
Politics, Religions and Military go hand in hand, and more harmful than good. If you tell them that they are more harmful. They will either ignore you or blow your head off.
