Neoconservative Douglas Murray's own use of identity politics are quite interesting. While he preaches against identity politics, he uses identarian politics to inspire his white Christian nationalist fans with delusions of persecution.

He's a bright guy. I would love to see how he expands on ideology as a new religion and the function of forgiveness outside of this new religion (it seems to be a given that we won't see forgiveness inside religion). I think he means a kind of general amnesty for wrongs committed throughout history. I remember some talk years ago about doing something similar with the world economy by forgiving debts and starting again.
