Religion is a product of the imagination and has no basis in reality. To indoctrinate children with this imaginary nonsense is child abuse. Evolution drives all life without purpose or design. We are who our brains say we are. If our brains change, our persons change. When our brains die, our persons disappear forever.
I agree God does not exist outside human imagination. And you do have to deny reality to believe in religion for instance the world is not flat, the earth is older than 6000 years old. And indoctrination is morally not right. Religion asserts which is true which is evidently not true. A lie is Miss information was a deliberate attempt to deceive. But yet that's what all religions do. Religion prays on children when their brains are not fully developed and they're gullible, and that is wrong. It is harder to deceive a rational logical adult then it is a child. Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence to back them or else they're just baseless assertions which doesn't consider warrant or merit. To believe anything that evidently isn't true is unwise.
Do you have proof for your statements?
Perhaps reality itself is a product of our imaginations.
Do you think we can influence our brains or does a brain change of its own volition?
If imagination is the closest to being Godlike, I would say so. When outdiders over influence our minds and thoughts, we lack our own imagination. From the neck down, your worth minimum wage. From the neck up, your worth as much as you can imagine.
@Castlepaloma So it is the brain which is doing the imagining?
Head Heart, and Gut: The Three Brains that Control Our Intuition - Invisible Edge, the human body actually has three brains? Recent neuroscience shows that aside from the head brain. The most important and most powerful for imagination is in the creative,/images/abstract part of your head brain. It gives humans an edge over all other animals.
God offered a brain to Adam and he refused it. Lol.
@Castlepaloma So it’s all mechanical?
Studied anatomy to become a sculptor grand master. At best I am veterinarian for my animals, not a brain surgeon or could take a stab at it , I do Trump for free.
To know the brain can be as complicated as a planet or stars, just by my best guesstimate.
A photo of a mouse brain looks like the milky way, is my best poetry entertainment for this evening.
