About replacing that 9th planet now that Pluto has been demoted
There's(theoretically) a massive black hole near the center of our Milky way galaxy. I don't believe there's a small one outside our solar system. I find it hard to believe that there's even a Neptune sized planet out there. But it's possible.
I don't understand why a "replacement" is needed or even wanted. More "pluto-like" dwarf planets have been found. The forbes article seems to me to be a 'mashup' of multiple recent astronomy articles (do a search for Primordial black holes). Also, should there actually be this speculated distant black hole, why bother to try to refer to it as a 'planet' ?
I didn't get the impression they want to replace the planet. I believe the article was just speculating about what might be out there at the edges of our solar system and what it might look like if discovered -- for example, rather than a planet, a black hole that might explain the orbits of the bodies they've found
