Women are so "all that" about taking pain. I once dropped a tennis ball on my foot (barefoot !!), and did not even make a peep.
Wow! You rarely see that level of fortitude. Kudos to you! ))))
I had a doctor friend in Seattle. For his wife's baby he recused himself because they were afraid that he wouldn't be able to stay objective. Ha, ha. I guess during her labor she ended up with her hands around his throat screaming at him -- 'give me something for the pain'. I never did hear how they worked it out except they had a healthy daughter and managed to stay together. Some things I'd just as soon stayed outside my experience.
My husband flatly refused to be present at the birth of our son, but eventually other people talked him into it, and he said afterwards that it was the most moving experience he'd ever had -- to actually see his son delivered. He never regretted it, and went through it like a trooper. I wasn't paying attention. I was too busy trying to find something I could murder my doctor with.
I find this a bit contradictory. If we are such wimps (as stated below) then what is all that crap about male some whatever something from the me too movement?
Only when it comes to pain and illness. Otherwise, you da man!!!!!
@TheoryNumber3 ......the battle of the sexes will continue......forever
@TheoryNumber3 Sure, they always are....until they are not ( Yes, I said it and IamStill aliv...aaagghhhh.... Insert droping dead noise here )
Yeah, men are wimps! I had a male obstetrician who made fun of my labor pain. Said his wife had 5 kids without a peep. I said yeah but how many did you have? Standing by and watching doesn’t count, dickhead!
Yep. They'd perish with the first contraction. You really said that? That's hilarious! Never piss off a woman, especially one in hard labor!
@TheoryNumber3 Very Wise man
No honey I don't have delivered baby before
