If they can do it with tattooed skin, just think what they can do with a mans scrotum. A bag, perhaps a purse, who knows the imagination is just limitless.
Hmm Jolant. Are you seeking bequests? Will consider it if it does not entail painful tatts.
What's next? Make lamp shades out of them?
Hey shedding a little light in death? Ok it's bizarre as hell....
@RavenCT A search of the net seems to indicate there is now a lot of doubt about Nazis making lampshades from the skin of victims of the concentration camps. However, I did find a Washington Post article, from 2001. It is long, but rather compelling. And also leaves me wondering whatever became of those artifacts.
@bingst That is fascinating. And that man was right - it's history that should be preserved or buried. One or the other. It's rather odd they left it in a back room and did not bring it to light.
It would have to be done well though - to ever be presented to the public. And I would think - adults only. That's not meant for children.
I've seen things having been a Biology major at one point - and I'm not sure I could stomach that exhibit.
That head is autopsy level stuff. Not sure I have the stomach for it.
So.. they are removing the skin with the tattoo..??
If so, no. that's creepy.
If not I'm not sure I understand what they are surgically removing..
I understand that in Japan the gangsters have their skins dried and preserved to keep the tattoos, and that is an old custom. Perhaps this is something new, such as removing the ink from under the skin and transfering it to paper.
